General information:

You may generally use the Einfach Genial gGmbH website for informational purposes without disclosing your personal data. When you access our website, we collect only information that does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your identity. These so-called server log files contain, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your internet service provider and similar details.

This information is technically necessary to correctly deliver the website content you have requested and is inevitably generated when using the internet. The legal basis for the temporary storage of data for these purposes is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
   
Personal data:
Personal data is only collected if you provide it to us when contacting us, for example when filling in a contact form or when booking a workshop. We use the data collected via the contact form exclusively to process your enquiry. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR and our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry. Where the processing of data is necessary for the conclusion of a contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR serves as the legal basis for data processing. The legal basis for processing the data where the user has given their consent is Article 6(1)(a).
Disclosure of personal data to third parties:

We will only disclose your data if you have given us your express consent to do so. Your data will only be disclosed to third parties without your express consent if we are legally obliged to do so to authorities entitled to receive such information.

Rights of the data subject

•    Right of access under Article 15 of the GDPR
You may request confirmation from Einfach Genial gGmbH as to whether we are processing personal data relating to you. We will provide you with information regarding: the purposes and categories of personal data being processed.

The existence of a right to rectification, erasure or restriction of processing by the controller, or a right to object to such processing.

The existence of a right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. You also have the right to request information as to whether the personal data concerning you is transferred to a third country or to an international organisation. You may also request to be informed of the appropriate safeguards pursuant to Article 46 of the GDPR in connection with the transfer.


•    Right to rectification under Article 16 of the GDPR

You have the right to have personal data concerning you rectified without undue delay if such data is inaccurate or incomplete.


•    Right to restriction of processing under Article 18 of the GDPR
You may request the restriction of processing under the following circumstances: if you contest the accuracy of the personal data concerning you for a period that allows us to verify the accuracy of the personal data; if the processing is unlawful and you object to the erasure of the personal data, requesting instead that the use of the personal data be restricted.
Einfach Genial gGmbH, which no longer requires your personal data for the purposes of processing, but which requires it to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or if you have objected to the processing in accordance with Article 21(1) of the GDPR and it has not yet been determined whether Einfach Genial gGmbH’s legitimate grounds override your interests.


•    Right to erasure under Article 17 of the GDPR
Where the conditions set out in Article 17(1) of the GDPR are met, you may request that your personal data be erased without delay. However, this right does not apply where processing is necessary for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

•    Right to be informed under Article 19 of the GDPR
If you have exercised your right to rectification, erasure or restriction of processing against Einfach Genial gGmbH, the company is obliged to notify all recipients to whom your personal data has been disclosed of this rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, unless this proves impossible or involves a disproportionate effort. You have the right to be informed of these recipients.


•    Right to withdraw consent in accordance with Article 7(3) of the GDPR
You have the right to withdraw any consent you have given under data protection law at any time, with effect for the future. However, withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out on the basis of that consent prior to its withdrawal.


•    Right to lodge a complaint under Article 77 of the GDPR
If you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR, you have the right – without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy – to file a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place where the alleged infringement occurred.
 
RIGHT TO OBJECT under Article 21 of the GDPR
You have the right at any time to object to the processing of your data carried out on the basis of Article 6(1)(e) or (f) of the GDPR. You may also object to the processing of your data for direct marketing purposes.
 
Duration of storage of personal data
Data collected is stored for as long as is necessary to fulfil the contract. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. In all other respects, the duration of the storage of personal data is determined by statutory retention periods (e.g. tax retention periods). Once the relevant periods have expired, the data used will be deleted.

Where personal data is collected and processed, the information is transmitted in encrypted form to prevent misuse of the data by third parties. To protect the transmission of personal and/or confidential content – e.g. when placing orders or making enquiries to the data controller – our website uses SSL encryption.
